Will Nintendo Silently ‘Kill’ The Wii U? March 10, 20141 Comment

Since the launch of Nintendo’s newest home console ‘Wii U’, it’s performance in sales have suffered tremendously. It’s quite sad to see Nintendo, one of the biggest entertainment companies in the world, reporting losses and financial doom. Nintendo has forever revolutionized gaming with it’s previous home consoles. We thought Nintendo was going to do the same with Wii U, but boy were we wrong.

So far, the gaming roster for Wii U exclusives looks really bad, and any good upcoming exclusive titles are still months to years away. It looks like Nintendo might of dug themselves into a hole this time. We’re even starting to suspect that maybe Nintendo has wider plans for the console but are saving it for E3 2014. This could be a possibility, but we’re not keeping our hopes up.

For the next half of 2014, exclusive titles such as Mario Kart 8, Super Smash Bros. & Bayonetta 2, have convinced gamers that a Nintendo comeback is imminent. The only exclusive title that is scheduled to be released In 2014 that has a chance of bringing the Wii U back to life, is Super Smash Bros. The Smash Bros series have been known to do exceptionally well in sales. At launch, Super Smash Bros. Brawl was easily one of the best selling games of all time for Nintendo.

There’s no doubt that this fighting game could bring Nintendo back to life, but it will take more to get Nintendo’s home console to the top.
