Bruce Jenner, Olympic Gold Medalist turned transgender woman in 2015 Now a reality TV star of famous shows “Keeping up with the Kardashians” and “I am Cait” and known as Caitlyn Jenner. Her show “I am Cait” is about her transition as a transgender woman.
She joined the backlash of criticism targeted at the US president. The blacklist was against the banning of transgender people to serve in the US military.
She condemned the Us president for not keeping his promise. He promised of fighting for the rights of LGBT community even after making announcements on Twitter.
The 67-year-old Caitlyn, who also voted for Trump and is a strong Republican Party supporter. She has been quite vocal about it , tweeted: “There are 15,000 patriotic transgender Americans in the US military fighting for all of us. “What happened to your promise to fight for them?”
Trump has put a voice ahead on social media in support of LGBT community and tweeted in June 2016 “I will fight for you while Hillary brings in more people that will threaten your freedoms and beliefs.”
This week, The US president Donald Trump made an announcement that would undo the efforts made by Barack Obama to let military recruit transgender people.
In a series of tweets later on, Trump said that transgender people will not be allowed to serve in US army.

Trump also added that focus of the military has to be on decisive and overwhelming victory. Excessive burden is useless in terms of medical costs and disruption because of transgender in the military.
This declaration was the cause of disturbing stir in the LGBT community. Laverne Cox who is an actress and an active LGBT campaigner. She also said that the declaration has made the transgender feel less valuable. It also sends a negative message to the rest of the world.
