FORBES’ annual ranking of the highest paid celebrities and entertainers in the world, was top by Diddy, banking $130 million pretax in a 12 month scoring period. Combs earned $130 million from June 1, 2016, to June 1, 2017, through his “Bad Boy Family” Reunion Tour, a stake in Ciroc vodka and the $70 million sales of one-third of his Sean John clothing line.
On number two spot is Beyoncé, with $105million in earnings. Diddy might be a long way from his Bad Boy days, but the former associate of the Notorious B.I.G. continues to swim in money as he approaches his 48th birthday. Forbes says rap star and business mogul brought in $130 million (pretax) last year, making him the highest-earning celebrity on their 2017 list. The partial sale of his clothing line, Sean John, was a big driver for Diddy, netting him $70 million when all was said and done. Alongside a lucrative deal with Ciroc and the revenue from the Bad Boy Family Reunion Tour, Diddy was able to eclipse his closest competition by about $25 million. It was a Herculean effort that vaulted him over some of the biggest names in pop culture.
2. Beyoncé, $105 million (Musician, U.S.)
Beyoncé, whose $105 million haul is the second-largest of her career, thanks to her Formation World Tour and Lemonade release. “I’ve never met anyone that works harder than me in my industry,” Beyonce told FORBES IN 2009. Queen B is now taking a break from touring to welcome twins–but only after grossing a quarter of a billion dollars on the road.

4 Drake, $94 million (Musician, Canada)
Toronto native Drake (No. 4) rapped his way to $94 million on his Boy Meets World Tour, Drake released the multi-genre More Life in 2017. Described by Drake as a playlist, it was his seventh consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and set multiple streaming records. He has the most charted songs (154) among solo artists in the history of the Billboard Hot 100, the most simultaneously charted Hot 100 songs in a single week (24), and the most Hot 100 debuts in a week (21).
